Stone is a concept that means “really heavy” for most. However, our precast stone products such as our fireplace mantels and kitchen range vent hoods are made hollow out of a product that doesn’t weigh as much as natural stone while having a great natural look and feel.

But let’s get down to the point:
Our vent hoods usually weigh under 400 lbs. They average around 350 lbs.

No particular structure reinforcement is needed. Actually it usually can be fixed and mounted on the 2″ x 4″ structure of the wall.
